Back Issues - 2020
Volume 4: 6 Issues
Quite simply, 2020 will be forever remembered for the world-wide Covid outbreak and subsequent restrictions. This had an obvious effect on my cycling, but despite the concerns, I found some interesting adventures whilst staying close to home.
It was a strange year to say the least. The lockdown was extreme for the first few months as everyone was told to just stay home — don't go to work, don't go to the shops, don't socialise. If you had Covid, you were to self-isolate at home with no contact to any of your family members. We were limited to two hours of exercise outside of the house; walking, jogging, or cycling.
With that said, I still published six issues, I wrote a surprising 14 ride reports, and I cycled 3,909 miles over 88 seperate days. However, my cycling is a solitary activity and the beauty of Wales is right on my doorstep. I took the restrictions as a challenge to explore all the little places just around our village.
